I have been making candles as gifts / as a hobby since 2015 after taking a weekend workshop in Los Angeles. After a move from Los Angeles to New Mexico in early 2020, I began experimenting with concrete as an art in mid 2020. After (many) artistic experiments I decided to merge my two loves, concrete and candles. I  launched Bad Moon On The Rise in April 2021.

After years of participating in  I created Bad Moon to bridge a gap in the highly populated candle industry.  I aim to approach this business with honesty and integreity  including conversations about quality ingredients and eco-forward products in recycled and recyclable  packaging. I do my research with every product I use - from the Wax being USA grown to labels made of recycled, compostable materials - I hope to provide a safe space for you to have fun and shop small, consciously.
